Received collection agency letter; called to find out that PAMF sent my account to the collection agency. Billing claimed that they notified my old office number from three years ago.

Never got the call. Medical record's contact info are all recent. Billing refused to process doctor's change of medical code. As a result, paying more than I should plus collection agency's interest.

Patient relations refused to pull up phone records to check details and investigated on my complaints. Just received a letter after three weeks of waiting stating everything is accurate and no fault on billing or Palo Alto Medical Foundation.

Reason of review: Problems with payment.
